Mastering the Psychology of Mindfulness & Performance

Our training materials blend sport-related, science-based mental training with traditional meditative practices. These techniques respectfully draw on the tradition and culture of the mind-body disciplines, without trying to imitate or otherwise reproduce them. The training materials function at once as meditation-mindfulness methods and also as foundation mental skills linked to effective sport performance.

Who we are

Dr. John Heil, DA, FAASP, FAPA

Dr. John Heil is a sport and clinical psychologist with Psychological Health Roanoke. He works with Olympic, professional and aspiring athletes, and has consulted at 3 Olympic Games. Dr. Heil also works in police and public safety, and in the medical field, where he is widely published in the psychology of sport injury.
